Didar: We Are Heading Toward Asian Cup With More Precise Planning

According to the official website of the Football Federation, Didar commented on the two-day camp of the women’s national team, noting that it was held less than two months before the start of the Asian Cup and therefore carried special importance for both the coaching staff and players.

She explained that the main objectives of the camp were to improve the team’s readiness, review tactical plans and strengthen coordination among players. “The goal was to help us enter the upcoming competition with more accurate planning and a clearer understanding of our responsibilities,” Didar said.

During the camp, several theoretical and technical sessions were conducted, during which head coach Marzieh Jafari outlined key points related to team structure, individual roles on the pitch and tactical execution. These sessions were followed by on-field training, allowing players to implement the discussed concepts in match-like conditions. Training focused primarily on coordination between lines, team play and reviewing various scenarios that may arise during Asian Cup matches.

Didar highlighted the positive atmosphere within the camp, stating that it was conducted in a highly professional environment and that players participated with strong focus and motivation. She also noted the inclusion of several new players, describing their energy and determination as a positive factor that could increase internal competition and ultimately raise the overall quality of the squad.

She added that strong interaction between experienced players and younger members was one of the key aspects of the camp. According to Didar, this sense of unity and the transfer of experience can play an important role in the team’s performance in crucial upcoming matches. She also noted that the coaching staff closely monitored players’ performances to identify strengths and weaknesses for more detailed planning in future camps.

In conclusion, Didar expressed hope that by continuing this preparation process and holding similar camps, the team can move closer to optimal conditions and approach the Asian Cup with a stronger mindset, unity and determination to represent Iranian women’s football with pride.
