Ghalenoei Travels to Saudi Arabia

According to the official website of the Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI), Amir Ghalenoei, head coach of the Iran senior national football team, will depart for Saudi Arabia today with the aim of overseeing the technical progress of the national U-23 side during the AFC U-23 Asian Cup.
Iran’s U-23 team has been drawn into a challenging group alongside Uzbekistan, South Korea and Lebanon. The Iranian youngsters will begin their campaign tomorrow with a high-profile opening match against South Korea.
The presence of the senior national team head coach at the tournament venue is part of the federation’s broader strategy to ensure close technical monitoring of the U-23 squad and to strengthen coordination and alignment between Iran’s national teams across different age categories.
