From the respectful behavior of a World Cup host toward TeamMelli members upon arrival, to scenes of Mexican residents greeting the team on the streets of Tijuana, and locals gathering behind the fences of the team hotel waiting for autographs – all of these moments demonstrate the hospitality of the Mexican people toward TeamMelli.
During a walk near their accommodation, several passersby and even people in moving cars took photos of TeamMelli players with their mobile phones and waved to express their interest and welcome. The warm reception and friendly attitude of Tijuana’s citizens in the first hours of TeamMelli’s presence have created a positive atmosphere for the start of the team’s camp ahead of the 2026 World Cup
