Affairs Proceed as Planned, ‘Sacrifice for the Homeland’ Is More Than a Slogan

Speaking to the official website of the Football Federation, Heydari referred to recent events in the country and stated that during a period when foreign elements sought to undermine Iran’s security and public order through destabilizing actions, the vigilance and bravery of the once again thwarted hostile plots against the nation.

He added that the Football Federation, standing alongside the Iranian people, demonstrated its loyalty during the 22 Dey commemoration, stressing that the phrase *“Sacrifice for the homeland”* represents a genuine commitment rather than a mere slogan. According to Heydari, the federation will not permit interference by any foreign actors in the country’s internal affairs.

The Head of the Provincial Affairs Committee further noted that all federation programs are being implemented precisely in line with pre-established plans. As an example, he cited the successful and uninterrupted holding of the Zanjan Provincial Football Board General Assembly.

Concluding his remarks, Heydari announced that, in accordance with the federation’s schedule, the General Assembly of the Kurdistan Provincial Football Board will be held on 8 Bahman, with Mehdi Taj, President of the Football Federation, in attendance.
