Captain Under Medical Treatment

Hossein Tayebi Injured in Training, Undergoing Medical Evaluation

Hossein Tayebi, captain of the Iranian national futsal team, is currently receiving medical attention after sustaining an injury during a training session.

According to Ehsan Mohammadi, Media officer of national futsal team, Tayebi suffered a nasal injury in an accidental collision with another player during an internal scrimmage at the team’s training session last night. He was promptly taken to the hospital with the team’s medical staff.

Following initial X-rays and stabilization, Tayyebi returned to the team’s hotel. Arrangements have been made for him to undergo further examination and treatment by a specialist ENT doctor this morning.

Mohammadi emphasized Tayyebi’s importance to the team, both as a valuable player and a charismatic leader. The coaching staff will await the doctors’ assessment before making any decisions, prioritizing Tayyebi’s health above all else.

Mohammadi thanked the media for their attention and confirmed that the national futsal team’s training schedule remains unaffected, with sessions continuing as planned at the National Football Center. The team is scheduled to depart for Jakarta on Friday, February 22nd.
