FIFA has published its initial Men's and Women's National Team rankings for 2026, with the Iranian Women's National Team securing a notable two-place advancement on the global stage.
As reported by the official Football Federation website, the first FIFA rankings of 2026 have been issued, highlighting positive movement for the Iranian Women's National Football Team.
Under the guidance of coach Marzieh Jafari, the Iranian squad has ascended two places to secure the 68th position worldwide.
In the overall Women's World Football Rankings, the leading trio remains unchanged: Spain sits atop the list, followed by the United States in second, with Germany maintaining the third spot globally.
