The players spent the afternoon session at the National Football Center in a high-energy and competitive atmosphere, preparing for the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup.
Technical Staff and Focus:
The team, under the guidance of Vahid Shamsaei, Mahmoud Khorakchi, Shahab Sefalmanesh, David Ramos, Mohammad Taheri, and Kazem Sadeghi, focused on physical and technical drills. These included ball retention in assisted play, technical work based on preliminary round opponent analysis, power plays, and rapidly transitioning defense into attack.

Baqer Mohammadi, Mehdi Rostamihah, Behzad Rasouli, Mohammad Hossein Derakhshani, Hossein Sabzi, Amirhossein Gholami, Mehdi Mehdikhani, Sajjad Yousefkhah, Mehdi Karimi, Masoud Yousef, Salar Aghapour, Ali Khalilvand, Moslem Oladghobad, Hossein Tayebi, Saeed Ahmadabbasi, and Behrouz Azimi attended today’s high-pressure training in full readiness.
Roster Decision:
Two players will be cut from this group by the technical staff, leaving the final 14-man squad to travel to Jakarta for the tournament.
The team will continue training both in the morning and afternoon tomorrow.
