AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers – Iran’s Group Draw
The draw for the 2026 AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers was held on August 7, 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Iran’s U-17 girls’ national team now knows its group-stage opponents.
Iran’s Group (Group B)
Iran was placed in Pot 1 and drawn into Group B, alongside:
- 🇱🇧 Lebanon
- 🇰🇼 Kuwait
- 🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia (host of Group B matches)
All matches in this group will be held in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, at Prince Saud bin Jalawi Stadium.
Match Dates
The qualifiers will take place from October 13 to 17, 2025 (corresponding to 21 to 25 Mehr 1404 in the Iranian calendar).
Tournament Format
- A total of 27 teams are competing.
- Divided into 8 groups: 3 groups of 4 teams and 5 groups of 3 teams.
- Only the winner of each group will qualify for the final tournament in China in 2026.
- They will join 4 automatically qualified teams: 🇯🇵 Japan, 🇰🇷 Korea Republic, 🇰🇵 DPR Korea, and 🇨🇳 China PR.
