Iran’s National Team Wins First Match
Iran’s U-20 women’s national football team defeated the host nation in their opening match.
The first match between the U-20 women’s national teams of Iran and Malaysia kicked off at 16:15 Tehran time, and ended with a 3–0 victory for Iran.
Iran’s goals were scored by:
- Maryam Dini (2 goals)
- Asal Ghajarian (1 goal)
Additionally, Atna Tofighi, Iran’s goalkeeper, successfully blocked a penalty kick from the opponent.
It is worth noting that Mohammadi Nasrabad, Iran’s ambassador to Malaysia, attended the match in person at the stadium.
