Mansouri: I hope we’ll be a worthy representative for our country

Nazanin Zahra Mansouri Alvares, captain of the Iran U-20 women’s national football team, said this morning during the pre-match press conference ahead of the game against Malaysia:
“We’ve had good training camps and carried out organized and purposeful sessions under the supervision of the technical staff. During the camps, we also played several friendly matches, which helped us a lot in improving team coordination. Moreover, the technical staff gained a precise analysis of our strengths and weaknesses and constantly reminded us of various points during training. We are ready for the match against Malaysia and aim to achieve the best possible result.”

She continued:
“Very good planning was done for each part of the training. The technical staff provided specific programs for each match and training session, which helped us improve technically.”

Mansouri added:
“We are now ready to participate in the tournament with full strength and to apply what we’ve learned in the camps on the field. We’re not just going to compete—we’re striving to showcase the true capabilities of Iranian women’s football.”

The captain of the Iran U-20 women’s national team concluded:
“I hope we’ll be a worthy representative for our country and that our good performance will bring joy to the people of Iran.”
