Iran U17 Girls’ National Team Begins Day Two with Tactical Morning Session
The Iran U17 Women’s National Football Team kicked off the second day of its final training camp with an early morning session from 6:00 to 8:00 AM at the National Football Center’s artificial turf pitch.
Led by head coach Shadi Mahini, the session focused on:
- Tactical precision
- Mental focus and quick reactions
- Team coordination and passing accuracy
Due to extreme daytime heat, the technical staff adjusted the schedule to protect the players’ health, opting for cooler early hours. The 30 invited players showed up with high energy and strong motivation, executing drills under Mahini’s direct supervision.
Coach Mahini stressed:
“Individual movement correction, accurate passing, and tactical discipline are essential. Every detail matters.”
The training emphasized:
- Fast transitions
- Role clarity in game scenarios
- Physical and mental readiness for competition
This camp, running from August 2 to August 8, serves as final preparation for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers in October. Iran aims to secure a spot in the continental tournament and ultimately qualify for the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
