Iran U17 Girls’ National Team Launches Final Training Camp Ahead of AFC Qualifiers
Led by head coach Shadi Mahini, the teenage squad begins intensive preparations at the National Football Center in Tehran.
Following a nationwide scouting and selection process, the Iran U17 Women’s National Football Team has officially commenced its final training camp at the National Football Center in Tehran. The camp runs from August 2 to August 8, serving as the last phase of preparation for the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers scheduled for October.
Under the supervision of head coach Shadi Mahini, the opening session took place on Monday, August 5, featuring:
- Warm-up routines: stretching, running, and ball control drills
- Tactical exercises tailored to match scenarios
- Intra-squad scrimmages to boost team chemistry
Training Objectives:
- Enhance tactical coordination and physical conditioning
- Strengthen mental focus and team cohesion
- Finalize squad selection for continental competition
The team trains in two daily sessions morning and afternoon until Friday, August 8, with a focus on building a competitive unit capable of representing Iran at the highest youth level.
