The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has officially announced the appointment of seven Iranian referees to officiate in the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers, scheduled to take place from September 20 to 24, 2025 (29 Shahrivar to 2 Mehr 1404).

📍 Group B – Hosted in Nonthaburi, Thailand:

• Referees: Mohammadjavad Ehtesham, Ali Ahmadi, Ali Hafizi

📍 Group H – Hosted in Yangon, Myanmar:

• Referees: Zari Fathi, Ebrahim Mehrabi Afshar

📍 Group E – Hosted in Hangzhou, China:

• Referees: Zahra Rahimi, Golareh Nazemi

These appointments reflect the AFC’s recognition of Iran’s strong presence in futsal officiating, with Iranian referees consistently selected for major continental and global events.

⚽ Iran National Futsal Team – Group G Fixtures:
Iran’s national futsal team will compete in Group G alongside:

• Malaysia (host)
• United Arab Emirates
• Bangladesh

The qualifiers will determine the final lineup for the 2026 AFC Futsal Asian Cup, which will be hosted in Indonesia from January 27 to February 7, 2026. Iran enters the tournament as the defending champion, having won its 13th title in 2024.
