Iran U17 Girls’ National Team Begins Training Camp at National Football Center

The teenage squad gathers in Tehran from August 2 to August 8 for final preparations ahead of the AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.

The Iran U17 Women’s National Football Team has officially launched its final training camp at the National Football Center in Tehran, running from August 2 to August 8, 2025, as part of preparations for the 2024 AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers.

Led by head coach Shadi Mahini, the camp features a selection of promising young players from across the country, chosen through a multi-phase scouting process. This phase marks the final stage before the team’s participation in the continental tournament.

The AFC U17 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers are scheduled for October 2025, and Iran aims to secure a spot in the final tournament, which also serves as a pathway to the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup.
