Development Meeting with Provincial Football Associations
A specialized development meeting of the Football Federation was held online this morning at the National Football Center auditorium. Ali Tarqelizadeh, head of the Technical and Development Committee, joined the session along with heads of provincial football associations.
Ali Tarqelizadeh stressed the importance of balanced football growth across the country. He noted that success depends on precise planning, structural support, and leveraging each region’s local capacities. Scientific programming, targeted training, and close collaboration with provincial associations are key.
He highlighted that the federation seeks to establish platforms for grassroots football, women’s football, futsal, and other disciplines. Without effective participation from provincial associations, achieving the federation’s overarching goals will not be possible.
During the session, the Technical and Development Committee head outlined the following operational initiatives:
- Upgrading sports infrastructure and enhancing pitches and training facilities
- Delivering coach education through provincial workshops and specialized courses
- Intensifying talent identification by organizing regional youth tournaments
- Creating continuous engagement mechanisms with provincial associations to resolve implementation challenges
In the closing segment, attendees shared views on effective collaboration methods and ways to overcome operational hurdles within provincial associations. Successful provincial management examples were reviewed, and a joint roadmap for cooperation was discussed.
This webinar aligns with the Football Federation’s policies for sustainable and comprehensive football development nationwide. It represents a significant stride toward strengthening structural links between the federation and its provincial associations.
