Football Federation’s Appeal Committee

In response to the circulation of inaccurate interpretations regarding our recent ruling, the Appeal Committee hereby clarifies:

  • Under Article 89 of the Disciplinary Regulations, only the two principal parties—Mr. Khorramzi and Damashian Gilan Club—have the right to appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
  • The protest submitted by Naft Masjed Soleyman Club fell outside this committee’s jurisdiction, and for that reason the appeal was formally dismissed.

The Appeal Committee did not, at any point, affirm or overturn the Disciplinary Committee’s original decision. Rather, it simply determined that it lacks the authority to adjudicate Naft Masjed Soleyman Club’s request. Any claims to the contrary distort the actual content of our ruling and are categorically rejected.
