Assistant coach of Iran’s national futsal team, expressed his admiration for the vibrant atmosphere and fan enthusiasm during the opening match of the Iranian Futsal Premier League in Saveh.

Spanish futsal coach David Ramos, currently serving as assistant to Vahid Shamsaei in Iran’s national team, shared his impressions after attending the local derby between San-e Ich Saveh and Municipality Saveh during the first week of the 2025–26 Iranian Futsal Premier League.

Ramos was deeply moved by the hospitality of Saveh’s fans and the electric energy inside the arena, describing the match as a “full-fledged futsal celebration.” He noted that although teams are still finding rhythm early in the season, the intensity and excitement of the game were palpable until the final whistle.

Drawing on his experience in Spain’s top futsal league, Ramos said the passion of Iranian spectators was remarkable, with their enthusiasm clearly influencing the players and coaching staff. He and fellow coach Mohammad Taheri were warmly welcomed by fans, many of whom took photos and asked questions about the national team.

Ramos emphasized the importance of the technical staff’s presence at league matches, stating that it sends a strong message of professionalism and commitment to clubs and players. He believes this visibility motivates athletes to perform at their best, ultimately raising the standard of competition.

He concluded by reaffirming the national team’s scouting efforts, saying: “We watch every player. The best will earn the honor of wearing the national jersey.”
