In a move that blends sports leadership with environmental advocacy, Shahrzad Mozafar, the head coach of Iran’s national women’s futsal team, has officially joined the national water conservation campaign. Her participation highlights the importance of athlete involvement in social causes, particularly those tied to sustainable resource management.

In a public statement, Mozafar remarked, “Water conservation is not merely a personal choice—it’s a national and social responsibility.” She called on the sports community, especially female athletes, to serve as role models for younger generations and help raise awareness about responsible water use.

Mozafar added that she is proud to stand alongside her team and the Iranian public in this meaningful initiative, and she encouraged all sports enthusiasts to support the campaign.
