FFIRI President Meets with U23 National Team:
Give Your All for AFC U23 Qualifiers
Mehdi Taj, visited the training session of the Iran U23 national team and encouraged the players to fully commit themselves ahead of the AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers.
Expressing his satisfaction with the team’s current preparation process, Taj emphasized the significance of the upcoming matches and the need for a strong and unified performance in the group stage.
Iran’s U23 team is drawn into Group I alongside UAE, Hong Kong, and Guam for the qualifying round of the AFC U23 Asian Cup.
During the meeting with the players and coaching staff, Taj underlined the crucial role of the U23 team in shaping the future of Iranian football.
“This tournament is a major opportunity to showcase the strength and talent of Iran’s next football generation,” he said. “The federation is fully committed to supporting this team every step of the way.”
At the end of the session, the players and staff expressed their gratitude for the federation's backing and reaffirmed their full readiness and determination to represent Iran with pride in the upcoming qualifiers.
