Child Safeguarding Seminar 2025 Held in Tashkent

CAFA successfully conducted its Child Safeguarding Seminar 2025 in Tashkent, uniting safeguarding officers and youth competition managers from all six CAFA Member Associations.

Over the course of two impactful days, participants engaged in comprehensive discussions and workshops addressing critical child protection issues in football. Key focus areas included:

✅ Recognizing and responding to signs of abuse
✅ Establishing safe and inclusive environments within football settings
✅ Understanding the ethical, legal, and policy dimensions of safeguarding
✅ Developing effective reporting structures and procedural pathways

The seminar was led by AFC consultant Morgan Lander, who brought extensive experience and practical insights to the sessions. The event also featured hands-on activities at Dustlik Stadium, the official venue of the upcoming CAFA U17 Championship 2025, allowing participants to apply safeguarding principles in real-world football scenarios.
