
Team Melli’s Intrasquad Match Ends in 1–1 Draw Between White and Red Sides
Team Melli training session kicked off at 5:00 PM at the National Teams Training Center, with players first gathering at the P.E.K. facility before receiving official match kits and dividing into two squads: White and Red.
The session began with 50 minutes of warm-up activities, including stretching, short passing drills, and two-player ball exercises. This was followed by possession games and one-touch/two-touch drills conducted in three rotating groups. As the session progressed, the training shifted to larger-pitch exercises with increased pressure—particularly focusing on defensive coordination.
Players then completed speed and agility drills involving hurdles, which were carried out with noticeable energy and enthusiasm.
The main event of the day was a 60-minute intrasquad match played in two 30-minute halves under the close supervision of head coach Amir Ghalenoei. The game ended 1–1:
