Third Phase of Sand Replacement Begins

Phase three of the beach soccer pitch sand replacement project began Thursday at the National Football Center.

The Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI) announces the launch of the third phase of the sand replacement project at the beach soccer pitch located within the National Football Center.

This stage, initiated on Thursday, May 23, involves the transportation and application of high-quality, regulation-standard sand. The newly delivered sand has been specially produced under expert supervision to meet international criteria for beach soccer, ensuring improved performance and reduced risk of injury during training and competition.

The project is part of the Federation’s broader commitment to upgrading infrastructure and providing professional-grade facilities for national teams. Upon completion of this phase, preparations will begin for the final stage of the project, moving the facility closer to full operational readiness.

The National Football Center continues to serve as the main hub for the training and development of Iran’s beach soccer teams.
