Communicating social and cultural strategies in the new season

Ehsan Mohammadi, head of the social responsibility department said: "The voice of football is loud, without borders and everyone understands, that's why we need to use this capacity to help improve the situation of the society."

He said: Every year, AFC proposes programs in the form of social responsibility to member countries, and FIFA also emphasizes that, based on the native structure of countries, football should be used to promote public awareness of cultural, social and health issues. In this regard, according to the investigations and consultation with social and cultural experts, the strategy of the football federation in four areas was explained and communicated to the football teams.

Mohammadi said: By examining the existing problems as well as AFC and FIFA's expectations of action in the specialized field, this year four topics "cultivation in order to reduce traffic accidents (cars and motorbikes), promote healthy eating (green food) with a focus on encouraging children, protecting The environment and nature and facilitating the presence of football fans in stadiums with any degree of physical ability (Football for all abilities)" were selected and announced as the programs that the Premier League teams and football teams are expected to act on.

He added: "Unfortunately, according to the statistics, 50 people die in Iran every day as a result of traffic accidents. Last year, Iranian football mourned several faces, including Melika Mohammadi, the star of the women's national football team, and Mohammad Ajmipour, a promising player of Naft Abadan." Traffic accidents are among the three main causes of death in Iran, so it is appropriate for football clubs and stars to take practical measures and we expect related institutions to cooperate with the clubs.

Referring to the prevalence of overweight among children and teenagers, the increase in harmful food consumption, and the incidence of cancer and strokes, the head of the social responsibility department said: Children and teenagers imitate the behavior and speech of stars more than they listen to the expert advice of doctors and nutritionists. And encouraging them through the lens of football to consume healthy foods is an action in the direction of taking care of the health of the future generation.

Mohammadi said: In addition to the issue of the environment, which is a national challenge and of course specially emphasized by the AFC, the category of facilitating the presence of fans with disabilities or special conditions in stadiums is of particular importance, in fact, it is expected that Premier League clubs and basic leagues provide facilities in stadiums. so that people with special conditions are not deprived from watching football, all these actions are aimed at creating a good feeling towards football and transferring it to the society.

In the end, he stated that clubs are expected to be diligent in observing national and religious occasions, charitable actions, honoring veterans and honoring national and patriotic heroes, and said: Premier League teams can coordinate public relations and cultural affairs of the league organization or department. The social responsibility of the football federation should carry out all four actions simultaneously or choose each of these four strategies in a special way and put them on the agenda as their social responsibility through cultural deputies and fan clubs. At the end of the season, the report of these actions will be one of the main data-x-items in choosing the best cultural club in the country, and its reports will be sent to the Asian Football Confederation.
