Iran U17 Futsal Team Holds Dual-Phase Selection Camp in Tehran
Ali Sanei leads national youth scouting effort with two separate training groups at the National Football Center.
The Iran U17 Men’s National Futsal Team has launched a two-phase selection camp at the National Football Center, aimed at identifying top young talent for future international competitions.
Led by head coach Ali Sanei, the camp is divided into two groups:
Group One
- 📅 Dates: August 9–13, 2025
- 👥 20 players invited
- 📍 Location: Guesthouse No. 1, Rezai Majd Complex
- 🕔 Reporting Time: Saturday, August 9 at 17:00
Group Two
- 📅 Dates: August 13–16, 2025
- 👥 20 players invited
- 📍 Location: National Football Center
- 🕒 Reporting Time: Wednesday, August 13 at 15:00
The players will undergo:
- ⚽ Technical and tactical drills
- 🧪 Physical fitness assessments
- 🧠 Psychological and teamwork evaluations
Coach Sanei emphasized that the dual-group format allows for more focused evaluation and equal opportunity for all participants. The goal is to build a cohesive and competitive squad for upcoming AFC youth futsal championships.
