Iranian Super Cup to Commemorate Fallen Soldiers of the 12-Day War
Super Cup will be held under the title “Martyrs of National Defense and Iran’s Strength,” paying tribute to those who lost their lives during the recent 12-day conflict.
The Iran Football League Organization has announced that the 2024–25 Iranian Super Cup will be contested between Tractor Tabriz (Persian Gulf Pro League champions) and Esteghlal FC (Hazfi Cup winners) on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 19:30 local time in Naghsh-e Jahan Stadium, Isfahan.
The match will be held in honor of the martyrs of the 12-day imposed war, reflecting the football community’s solidarity with national values and sacrifices. A commemorative ceremony will precede kickoff, recognizing the fallen and celebrating Iran’s resilience.
This symbolic gesture aligns with the federation’s broader initiative to integrate social responsibility into major sporting events, reinforcing football’s role as a cultural and national unifier.
