Iran to Compete in Group B

The 2025 CAFA Nations Cup, Central Asia’s premier football tournament, will be held in Dushanbe, Tajikistan, from August 29 to September 7 (7–17 Shahrivar 1404 in the Iranian calendar), as announced by the Football Federation Islamic Republic of Iran (FFIRI).

Team Iran has been drawn into Group B, where they will face Tajikistan, Afghanistan, and Malaysia. Group A includes Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Turkmenistan, and Oman.
