
Iran Women’s National Football Team Holds Evening Training Session
The first training session of the Iran women’s national football team was held on the afternoon of Sunday, June 9 (18 Khordad), starting at 17:00 on Pitch No. 1 of the National Football Center. All invited players were present under the supervision of the technical staff.
The session began with speed drills on the grass, followed by tactical exercises focusing on ball movement in both defensive and offensive scenarios.
The main focus of today’s training was reviewing defensive structures, improving coordination between different lines of play, and conducting high-intensity drills to simulate match conditions. The players participated with high motivation and discipline, carrying out the technical staff’s structured programs while being assessed both individually and collectively.
This training camp is part of preparations for two friendly matches against the Iraq women’s national football team, scheduled for June 10 and 12 (20 and 22 Khordad).
