Team Melli departs for Doha
Four Iranian Football Legends Join National Team on Trip to Qatar.
Team Melli has departed for Doha aboard a chartered flight operated by Varesh Airlines to face Qatar in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
A total of 27 players are part of the traveling squad. Mehdi Taremi, who arrived in Qatar from Italy, is already in Doha and is expected to join the rest of the team for training later today.
In a special gesture, four esteemed veterans of Iranian football: Hossein Faraki, Hossein Kazrani, Behtash Fariba, and Nasrollah Abdollahi have been invited by the Football Federation and head coach Amir Ghalenoei to accompany the team on this trip.
