Iran Women’s National Team Concludes Training Camp

The second training camp of the Iran women’s national football team has officially concluded, as the squad now prepares for upcoming friendlies against Iraq following a short break.

Iran Women’s National Team Concludes Training Camp

The national women’s team held their final training session of the camp on Monday, June 2 at the National Football Center under the supervision of head coach Marziyeh Jafari.

The camp began on May 22 (2 Khordad) and included a full schedule of training sessions, fitness drills, tactical work, and two intrasquad matches designed to evaluate player performance and team cohesion.

After a 5-day rest period, Team Melli Banovan will regroup for their next camp, which includes two friendly matches against Iraq:

  • Tuesday, June 10 (20 Khordad)17:00 kickoff

  • Thursday, June 12 (22 Khordad)11:00 kickoff

Both matches will be held at Pitch No. 2 of the National Football Center in Tehran.

These games are part of the team’s preparation for the upcoming AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers, with a focus on building match fitness, sharpening tactical execution, and identifying the final roster.
