Fresh Energy for Iran Women’s National Team
Maryam Dini shared her feelings about her first call-up to the senior national team, saying:
“It feels amazing to be invited to the national team. I’ve gained a lot of motivation from this. I’ve always worked hard to perform at my best, and being called up to the senior squad feels like a reward for all that effort.”
She praised the welcoming environment in the training camp and the support of senior players and staff:
“The atmosphere here is warm and friendly. I’ve worked with Coach Jafari at the club level before, so I’m already familiar with her. I also feel comfortable with the senior players—they help me a lot and make it easy for me to focus on showing my best.”
Dini highlighted head coach Marziyeh Jafari’s commitment to youth development:
“Coach Jafari has always had a positive and encouraging attitude toward bringing in younger players. With her in charge and with the goal of qualifying for the Asian Cup, more young players will hopefully get a chance to join the national team.”
She added:
“I always wanted to play under Coach Jafari at the national level, and now I have that honor. From the intensity of the training sessions and the focus in camp, it’s clear that the entire team is working hard to qualify for the AFC Women’s Asian Cup. We’re very hopeful and fully committed to achieving that goal.”
