Women's Futsal Premier League to Start on August 10, 2025

Women's Futsal Premier League to Start on August 10, 2025

The Futsal League Organization has officially announced that the new season of the Women's Futsal Premier League will commence on August 10, 2025 (20 Mordad 1404).

Following a recent strategic meeting with key departments of the federation, it was decided that the first half of the season will be held before the Islamic Solidarity Games and the Women’s Futsal World Cup, in which the national team is scheduled to participate. The second half of the season will resume on December 8, 2025 (18 Azar 1404).

As part of a broader talent development plan, two national youth leagues will also be launched:

  • The Under-17 Girls’ League will be organized through provincial representative teams.

  • The Under-19 Girls’ League will be coordinated directly by the Futsal League Organization.

These initiatives aim to support long-term preparation for future Women’s Futsal World Cup competitions.

Despite past challenges—including the mid-season withdrawal of a team last year—the organization reaffirms its commitment to stabilizing the league structure and supporting clubs, coaches, and athletes at all levels. The league’s growth is considered a national responsibility, requiring collaboration among football authorities, clubs, investors, and media.

According to the published schedule, the first nine matchweeks of the Premier League will take place between August 10 and October 10, 2025 (20 Mordad to 18 Mehr 1404). The organization also expressed hope for greater public participation, especially from women and girls, in order to boost morale and further energize the women's futsal scene.
